I have a compaq presario r3240a it has an AMD ATHLON 64 3200+(2GHz) with a NVIDIA GEFORCE4 440 GO 64M.My problem is that I bought Black and White 2and it says that I need a video card that has pixel shader 1.1 I've tried updating the driver and it didn't make a difference. Is there anything anybody could tell me to fix this problem?Thank you in advance!!

seeing how this is going to be a hardware issue and I have a laptop ......is it upgradable or replacable?

I've never had to replace a video card on a laptop, but logic would state that it's possible. When I get some free time, I'll look around.

Considering most of the time it's soldered onto the motherboard or part of the chipset, No.

There may be an emulator somewhere that will force the pixel shading through your CPU, but it will probably run horribly.
