Pixel defect - check this out..

I can't figure out what kind of pixel defect this is. The pixels are all good in that they all turn on and off as they are supposed to, but from a distance you can see this tiny dark spot.

Any LCD experts know what causes this during manufacturing? (experts only please. I can come up with lots of theories on my own.) ;o)

Yeah, I tried nudging it around. It is an odd little creature. It's definately not on the surface. It is the only blemish on the panel, so I'm keeping this one I guess.. The last one had a stuck pixel. None on here.

Well obviously we will never be sure what it is. Most likely a speck of dust.
