Pixel Amplitude?

this to be exact (don't know how I ended up on there) anyway, what is the pixel amplitude of an image?

Is it just the number of pixels in the image or something like that?

Given the context, it's more likely a qualifier for the power usage. Assuming displaying a fully on pixel draws more power than a fully off one - it's saying that's what it draws at 50% usage.
