ahh...no...my dad has it like crazy, but he always said its b/c he played with his acne when he was little so i always made a point no to sctrach at my acne....well amost 😛 i did a little but for 80% of the acne on my face i never did it...but today while I was shaving i noticed i'm starting to get those little pits on my face...they are reallly tiny but are there nonetheless. Is this some genetic thing, or is this something i can stop? anyone know?

One of two possible things you are talking about:
1. Scarring. Scarring is caused by scratching acne but does not look like pits. Well, looks like your face is f'ed up. I'm betting they have a procedure to hide this though. Although scarring is usually caused by scratching, it most likely happens on its own depending on the severity of acne.
2. Large pores. If you have acne over a period of time, your pores will continue to widen until they are visible within close range. Pores are pits and more likely fit your description. There are creams that tighten your skin and hide the existence of pores (check out most chick products).
Now, I need to get out of this nasty thread.

You definately are having a neurotoxilogical reaction to the nitric oxide synthase that is present within the air. Your skin cells are absorbing said nitric oxide synthase, and are proceding to implode in such a manner that creates pits. You need to watch out for pulmonary toxicity as the synthase can travel from your skin cells to your lungs creating a embolism that will eventually kill you if not treated. This is a rare disorder, and has been dubbed Herpes Simplex 3.
Yeah, what skace said!!!!!!! This has happened only recently, because about 2 years ago i finally started getting my shots of acne and it even got to the point where I was accutane for over 6 months (see when my dad had it they didn't have accutane so he scratched to hell) Yayy its not teh herpes!
