Pitch Black- Difference between movie version and unrated Director's cut version?

I saw pitch black in the movie theaters. now I have the unrated Director's cut DVD.

I didnt remember a difference between the 2. Anyone know?

I liked that movie. I own the regular DVD. The movie was different...good stuff.

Usually, Director's Cuts have more blood and guts and being it's a DVD some extra "extra footage" . Some gratuitous female frontal nudity would be nice.

I'm not sure, I have only seen the director's cut. It's funny though, in the commentary on the DVD, they talk about a couple of scenes that aren't included in either, one being how Vin's character gets the hole in his blindfold at the beginning of the movie.

I'm going to guess that it's just some extra gore that you probably wouldn't otherwise notice.

There was the one miner chick who shredded to bits when it first when dark when they were on their way back from the camp to the ship.
