I remembered that I was minding my own buisness, and then the next second a HUGE pitbull came charging at me. Without a second thought, I had aimed a gun I had on me for self defense at it. All I remember is that I fired 8 rounds into it at close range and it STILL manage to nearly maul my hand, go behind me and bite and pierce through my skin and hamstring, and bite my butt HARD while a struggled completely trying to get it off as it became more and more aggressive and WHOOP-DE-DOO it made it even more aggressive. Shot it 2 more times and NOPE. I was bleeding all over and felt completely sore while it's barks made my ears ring. I kept trying to pull it off my butt while I was on the ground bleeding non stop from my hand, hamstring/back leg, thigh and butt. All places it attacked me, until it finally let go of me and decided to run off while bleeding itself.

I got over 50+ Stitches that took a super long time and 9 months later still stings and burns. plus looks ugly.

Two weeks ago, I was walking with my friend around somewhere, helping him look for someone to extract justice against them, and we hear a huge pit barking insanely loudly behind us, and as we turned around, It was already inches away from us looking angry as hell.

I remember my friend drawing his 9MM and without enough time cause of the distance, fired only a few rounds into it before it charged full speed into him, bit and locked onto his gun arm, and because of its strength sent him tumbling down back with it and he ended up hitting his head very hard on the curb. After that he stopped moving completely while that beast bit him more and more before losing interest.

The last thing I saw after I ran off due to flight or flight and PTSD after looking back was it moving to his butt for some reason.

If you don't believe me, there are MANY stories of pitbulls taking an insane amount of punishment and surviving. mainly on the banpitbulls website. Like one story where the cops had to shoot one 12 TIMES.

Honestly, my stitches are still hurting and stinging badly and I'm pretty much shaken up badly just from remembering all of this. I'm sorry I just needed to rant.

pitbulls are 10000 times stronger than us. i am confident i would die a horrible death to a pitbull. i know how to fight against wild animals, particularly badgers, but still, no badger is anything like a pitbull.

The secret is when the pitbull gets your hand in his mouth. What you then do is grab him by the back of his neck and proceed to ram your other hand down his throat. He will not be able to bite you when you grab a hold of the inside of his throat and choke him out.

What did you shoot it with a freaking Red Rider BB gun ?!?

Because one solid hit in the chest area (most likely even with a .22 short) and that dog would not be doing well at all never mind 8 hits with a .22! (or one with .45)

Really getting shot isn't like the movies ... 95% of the time whatever gets hit does NOT just keep coming.

You need to run some decent self-defense JHP ammo in that gat of yours. And maybe not hold the gun sideways because shot placement is critical. And stop running the streets on justice extraction missions while petting stray dogs with tasty bacon sammaches in your back pocket. And posting about it on these forums.

You need to have a better stance of dominance with animals so they respect you. I ran into a bear once but my stance of dominance made it so it could not bear my awesomeness, and it took off jumping into the lake. It probably committed suicide.

Well the fact that I shot at it several times may have scared it off too. Was carrying a Nikon D7000.

Have not run into a pitbull yet, but I imagine it would come straight towards me so I can give it a belly rub. Velvet hippos like their belly rubs!
