probably a knockoff level II vest at best. He's lucky his friend was accurate enough, i've seen people miss pretty badly at that range if they aren't careful.

aim a little bit higher, bruise the heart and possibly kill him.

What neighborhood do they live in where they can just shoot whenever they feel like it?

You can shoot a gun whenever you feel like it in most of the land area of the US. It's usually only inside city limits where firing a gun for fun is illegal.

These guys don't appear to concerned about rules, anyway.

.32 ACP is a pretty weak round. Must be a very low grade vest.

I have a Beretta Tomcat chambered in .32 ACP. That gun is freaking punishing to shoot and it will fucking kill you. No way I'd attempt to do what these guys did in that video.

High recoil does not mean the round is powerful.

.32ACP is not very powerful as far as pistol rounds go. Right at the bottom.

The main reason a .32ACP is better than a .22LR is that centerfire cartridges are far more reliable than rimfire cartridges.

Strictly taking energy and penetration, the .22LR probably wins.

Many factors contribute to felt recoil. I have a Beretta model 90 in .32ACP and the recoil is quite tame. It's heavier than your Tomcat, though.

If you have a Tomcat that isn't stainless, be careful of cracks in the frame.

The Tomcat is a blowback pistol, so it has sharp recoil. It also lacks an extractor, which is cool.

http://www.goldenloki.com/ammo/gel/tests.htm

.22 lr Test pistol: Taurus PT22

.32 acp Test pistol: Kel Tec P32

.380 acp Test pistol: Kel Tec P-3AT

.9 x 18 Test pistol: E. German Makarov

.9 x 19 Test pistol: Kel Tec P11

.32 acp would do significantly more damage than .22lr it would seem.

I would imagine. Mass + velocity = ouch A .22LR is more dangerous because of it's unpredictability upon entering a body.

Might be a stupid question, but are some bullets magnetic?

Steel.

Thats a quick n easy way to tell the difference in bullets if you arent sure (since most of them are copper coated).

Brass isnt magnetic. Lead isnt. Copper isnt. Powder sure as hell aint!
If theres any steel at all in there, a magnet will let you know. Thats important cuz some ranges wont let you shoot steel bullets.
