Easily my favorite nut with cashews coming in 2nd. I only like in-shell pistachios though. Cracking open those shells is half the fun. Ironically, Pistachios were the featured food on Good Eats last night. Alton made a very yummy looking pesto using pistachios.

yes i just bought a bag from costco last sat. last night around 9 I remembered I bought them and went to go get a small bowl to much on while i watched the Black Donnaleys. no nuts, my kids decided to have a fricken feast and ate them all!!! :| i didnt even get one. :|

im going back to costco and getting another bag and it will be kept locked in my car.

my thoughts exactly, i always manage to seperate my thumbnail from a part of the skin beneath it and the salt from the nuts gets in the wound

my first are salted macidamia nuts, then almonds then pistachios!!
 
We have a serious Pistachio problem in my department. It's costing me $16 every two weeks to keep the stash going. I despise the unpopped ones though.
