Pirates never went away. All seasoned sailors are wary of them. They're just more difficult to spot because they stopped flying the Jolly Roger.

I love Pirates. I always wanted to be one. I don't think there is anything funnier than a good pirate joke either.(maybe you've heard this one)

A pirate walks into a bar and the bartender notices he has a steering wheel attached to the area around his crotch.
The pirate has a few drinks, and finally the bartender's curiosity gets the better of him
"What's up with the steering wheel, friend?"

In some regions, pirates are alive and well. Any captains who travel extensively and navigate in these areas of the world often carry something for defense like an AR-15 and a handgun. Gotta be careful though, because if you go to port in some of these countries, and they find you have guns, its going to be a long time before you get out of some rat-infested prison.

We have lots of pirates right here in the U.S., except we called them "robbers" and they don't use boats.

China lets pirates in and out of their waters at will. The Chinese government gets a payoff for a safe harbor. It happens many times a year. And yes they know how to peddle stolen oil.

They're just more difficult to spot because they stopped flying the Jolly Roger.

I resent my witty line being turned into a bad pun.

I expected Moore out of you, Roger.
