PIP in Dell 2005FPW

I just got the 2005FPW a few days ago and started playing around with the options today. I have a seperate PVR system (D-Sub) and my main system (DVI) both plugged into the monitor. I couldn't get the PIP to work with DVI as the main and the D-Sub as the inlay. I was wondering if this was possible?

I have looked at the owner's manuel but, it proved fruitless. 🙁
