What do you guys think of this receiver. It'll be going in my room, so it doesnt need to be GREAT, just something to get by...

I think it would be fine. Just remember that a 100 watt receiver does not mean it makes 100 watts per channel . As long as you understand the limitations here, and are satisfied, then go for it.
