My friend is going to sell his receiver and speakers among other things in order to help fund a new car, though today he told me he'd trade what he has straifght up for my laptop...
this is what he has:
Pioneer VSX-D498 receiver
6 piece KLH speaker system, 4 satellites, 1 center channel and 1 subwoofer.
My laptop is a Toshiba Portege 7010CT, p2 300, 196 MB ram, no CD/floppy as it is an ultra portable. I paid 400 and some dollars for it a couple months back.
I already have a smoking desktop system, and my only audio from my TV is from the speakers built into it. So I have 0 when it comes to an audio system.
Anyone have experience with the said receiver? Is it good? I've seen it priced online anywhere from 199 and up, he paid $300 for it a couple months ago.
What do you all think? Is it a "fair" trade?
