Pioneer Sucks......

The DVD-RW Drive i popped into my Mac-Mini about 4 months ago is on the fritz... Laser Calibration errors left and right...

Called Pioneer, 4-6 week turnaround and they don't cover shipping. They suck.

I've never had good luck with the Pioneer slot-load drives (I'm assuming it's a slot-load?).

Figured. I've had the normal tray-load drives and they lasted for years, but every slot-load I've had, failed miserably after only a couple months.

Wasn't the drive that shipped with my Mini.....


Also, i have to give newegg some credit here, just found out those nice bastards are replacing it for me, 5 months after the sale 🙂 🙂
