Pioneer Premier vs Plain Pioneer difference?

The only difference I can see is the looks and price

What are the major differences?

Just a couple extra features....like the diff. b/t the 740MP and the 7400 is 4v volt preouts and longer warranty. They are not higher quality parts though

Pioneer Elite is for HT stuff I think..Premier is for car audio. Not sure, but my friend has a Pioneer Elite receiver and some car decks that I've seen are Premier.

Usually the main difference between decks is the warranty (1 year for Pioneer and 2 years for Premier), as well as extra outputs and perhaps additional screen savers on Premier units.

There are usually some extra features, like maybe a more advanced EQ or sound processing. Things of that nature. But there might also be some higher quality stuff for higher S/N and such.

I know its that way for regular Kenwood vs. Excelon.
