Question Pioneer MVH-295BT

I recently bought a new Pioneer MVH-295BT head unit for my 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix and got a Scosche GM035 wiring harness to wire it with. After I got it all wired and hooked the ground wire to the chassis of the car it didn't power on.

Is the wiring harness I got not compatible with my car, or is there something else wrong?

You should go to crutchfield. You can look up your car there, and see what you need. They carry Pioneer, and are more than happy to answer questions.
