Pioneer DVD-105s RPC-1 firmware (1.22f) and Abit KT7-RAID

Hi,

I have the above DVD-ROM drive and wanted to make it region free by using the 1.22F firmware update. I've heard that some after this update some motherboards don't let you enable the DMA on the drive anymore.

Anyone done this on a Abit KT7-RAID? Work fine?
