Is there a way to connect them together without a master control unit?
I have the DEH-P7400MP and am thinking of getting the AVX-7300 to work with an HKS CAMP system. But I think there is a way for it to also display the stuff from the DEH-P7400MP also. That would be an added bonus for me, but not if I have to pay for a master control unit.

Heheh, sorry

the deh-p7400mp is their head unit, it is a radio tuner + cd player and plays mp3 cd's.. it has their Organic EL display so it has lots of neat animations

the avx-7300 is a 7" lcd screen that retracts into the dash.

the hks camp system is a computer that replaces many gauges. so it can output rpm, speed, injector duty cycles, boost, oil temp and pressure, exhaust gas temps, onto the aforementioned screen. it can also do some analysis on it and also do some data logging. it also has a nify screen saver like thing that shows fish in an aquarium that react to the various inputs (ie rev very hard and it disturbs their fish tank)

i know that you can connect the head unit into pioneer's master control unit so that it works in conjuction with it.
you can also connect the screen to it also so it can display stuff.

someone told me that if connected in that way, the screen should be able to display info coming from the headunit (whether that just be track info, or the actual animation is yet to be seen).

I don't need the master control unit as I don't need something of that scope, but I would like to connect the two other devices together if it is inexpensive enough.
