Pioneer cd-rom changer (6 cd's) not working in XP

Hello all,

I'm having a little trouble trying to get my Pioneer CD-ROM CHANGER (model DRM-604X) to work in XP and/or Win2K.
In Windows Explorer, I see all the drive letters of all 6 extra cd-roms. However, when I try to access a cd, it would not read the contents at all.

This is a rare drive so it may be a little tough. 🙁

Thx.

Yeah . . . that drive is probably too long in the tooth to have current XP drivers. Maybe it's time to upgrade. Have you checked Pioneer's web site for possible drivers?

OMG! I didn't think anyone was still using those Pioneer changers! :Q

Our library has about a dozen of 'em in storage - we tried donating them to local schools, and the schools wouldn't take em!

I don't think there are any drivers for Win2K or XP, but what the heck, I'll borrow one and give it a try for ya with one my systems. 🙂
