pioneer amplifier "power off" error message

a house near my house got struck by lightning and now my pioneer amplifier (VSX-D906s) just displays "power off" right after it is turned on, then it turns itself off... anyone ever heard of this?

yeah, that's what i thought, but i thought maybe someone had seen it before that has some technical experience

In my technical experience, you are screwed.

I'd check all the fuses, other than that you are going to have to take it in to be repaired.

probably just buy a new one... it's actually my dad's. i told him to call the place he bought it from to see if they had ever heard of anything like it before, and if they hadn't to just buy a new one
