What is white glove?

And HDTV's are definitely reaching that point where I'm seriously looking at one of them

This is a great TV. I bought one from them last year and it was like $2300. I believe Pioneer may be ready to come out with new models, but this one contains many of them same components as their "Elite line" of HDTV's. I highly recommend it.

And there is a built in "protective screen". Many users remove this themselves, but if you have pets/kids you may want to keep it. Plus its not something you can just "pop off" easily. Just keep the room dark to cut down on glare like I do.

Thanks LD!

It's VERY important that it has a screen shield for me...since I have two small children.

I just couldn't see the shield as a listed feature on Pioneer's site.

Hmmmm...SERIOUSLY thinking about this now!!!

what about a pioneer 64"
i have the 64" love it!!!
can't look at other TVs at BestBuy and CircuitCity anymore, too small.... got Onkyo surrond with it, 650w, can sahke down the house. by the way, to be honest the sound techology included with this pioneer HDTV rocks too, very good base out put.

Well, considering I don't...

* Live near a Costco
* Live near a CompUSA
* Live in NY
* Have enough viewing distance in the room for anything larger than 57"

The 64" deal is as good as dead to me.
I'm thinking other folks may also have similar constraints, which is why I posted this one.

BTW: Hey...but way to come in and crap on this thread anyway!

BTW2: Now all I need is some other numbskull to post about front projection options. :frown:

Am I missing something here??? I show them charging me another $233.69 for shipping. . . Did I maybe mis-read the post? From glancing at it, it appears that shipping is included in the $1897. . . Is the $233.69 maybe the white glove delivery? If so, anyone know
how I turn it off? =)

Thanks.

Curb-side shipping was free on this unit when I first posted the deal.

Evidently, they're not offering it on that model anymore, which SERIOUSLY cools this deal, IMHO!

I'll back you up on that. It was free shipping before.
Thanks Mike!

For anyone interested in this TV, calling Onecall directly (at the 800 number on their website) to order is prolly your best chance.
Tell them you saw it had free shipping the day before...and see if they'll waive the delivery charge.
Still prolly only curbside, but better than paying $200+ extra buckaroos to them to simply deliver it to your driveway.
