Hey there guys, no one has checked pricewatch.com at all?? Over at Royal Computer (Resellerrating of 3.5/7 - Accessmicro is 3.8/7) you can get the tray loading Pioneer 115 16X DVD-ROM Drive for $77, and the Slot Loading Pioneer 105s 16X DVD-ROM Drive for $88 Shipping is $9.95 for CA, and $10.95 for everywhere else for UPS ground (high, but the 77 drive + 10.95 shipping = 87.95 (price of just drive from accessmicro)

I also have the older slot version 104S.. I bought it 8 months ago for $150 after reading pretty good reviews about it on the net, however i'm a little disappointed now. the drive is waaay to noisy, slot mechanism scratches the CDRs.. besides my Plextor CDRW drive doesn't like it for direct disk-to-disk copies (on separate IDE). I use my Plextor as the master CD drive now, and Pioneer only for DVDs... Even the cheap Affrey DVD drive I have in the office works better...
