So, im upgrading from a regular cdrw drive to a dvdrw. The drive is on my second IDE master, and the jumper is set to master. MY computer recognizes the drive and boots up fine. HOwever, when i put in a cd i can hear the drive spin for a split second, then stop It will not read any type of cd. I have the 80slot IDE cable as well. Can anyone offer some advice?
