Pioneer 106s or 116

Ok ive decided to get a PIONEER DVD drive..

yet there are 2 versons im looking at. one of them is a Pioneer 106s which is a slot loading one. other one is a 116 whcih is tray loading. now i really dont have a preference on slot vs try. just wondering if there is any other differences (like noise)

thanks

<< so the noise level is basically the same? >>

I can easily live with the noise from my slot loader. can't really comment on the tray loader though the motor in both are the same.
if you're that worried of noise then look at the toshiba x12 dvd. IMO, the x16 dvd model is disappointing though still quieter than the pioneer.

I was thinking the same thing when I went to buy my Pioneer DVD, I talked to a friend and he said that they look cool, but to watch out for scratching your discs as you insert and remove them, so I went tray and saved $10
