Pioneer 104S DVD = WIndows doesnt recognize

Ive installed like 10 million cd rom and dvd rom drives...but for some reason this one doesnt hold...after reboot...device manager says its a generic cd rom..

any help will be appreciated.

have you tried playing a dvd in it yet... windows doesn't recognize most cdrom/dvdrom drives correctly anyways
