OS: Windows XP Pro SP1 (including every critical update to date)

Hardware:
Gateway Select 1200
MSI 6330 V.2 Generic Motherboard
Athlon Thunderbird 1.2 Ghz
768 MB 3x256 PC133 SDRAM
VIA KT133 Chipset

GF3Ti200

3com 10/100 NIC
Broadcom 4210 HPNA NIC
Leadtek Winfast TV2000XP Deluxe
SB Live! Value 4.1
Maxtor ATA133 PCI card

Norcent 48x12x48x CDRW (Location 01x01)
Pacific Digital 16x DVD (Location 01x00)
Quantum Fireball 60GB 7200 RPM HD (Location 00x00)
Maxtor 160GB 7200 RPM HD (Location 03x00)
Floppy Disk Drive

250W PSU
1 Internal fan hooked via floppy connector

The 48x CDRW is only burning at 8x-9x...It should burn at 48x. Im about 90% sure its due to PIO Mode on the CDRW. Windows is telling me that its in PIO Mode for the CDRW, yet Mode 2 DMA on the DVD Drive. I click on DMA if available but it doesnt change it after a restart.

Windows was reinstalled less than a month ago.
Im using the current ASPI drivers...4.72a...
Im using the current Via 4in1 driver (4.49p2 released 8/20/03)

Also install the latest Via Hyperion 4-in-one drivers - and disregard any message stating that it's not for Win XP. And yes that is something you want.
