pinned to 100% cpu usage

when i go into control panel and then into add/remove programs and when i click on verizon yahoo applications (im trying to delete and re-install DSL to see if i can get rid of the Yahoo) and it like freezes, you cant minimize add/remove and when i click cntrl alt dlt to see whats running, and it just says my buddylist and control panel it dont say add/remove. could someone help me with this please? thanks.

Try removing it while in safe mode.
