Pinnacle Studio 11 Promotions

Currently using Pinnacle 9.4 I have been using Pinnacle since version 8 and was lucky enough not to have any major issues until now. It now uses up 99% cpu when trying to do anything in Pinnacle studio. I have no idea why its stasrted doing that now. So Now I have to wait literally 2 - 3 mins for me to get controll back. Anyone expereince this issue and more importantly any resolutions for this?

I'll agree Pinnacle does have its issues but I have also learned to deal with the "annoyances".

Just wanted to add that the BestBuy is a bit better deal at the moment.

There's a setting you need to change so it doesn't render changes on the fly, I forgot the exact name of it, I can find it later when I'm home. If you look in your settings it should be easy to find.

You can"t use the rebate form if you buy it at Best Buy -- the boxes have a different UPC.

Click on "Setup", "Edit", choose "No background rendering" in the "Rendering" dropdown menu.
