I would like to see a product review of the Pinnacle ShowCenter. This product was reviewed on Tom's Hardware but I'm concerned with the video quality and I'm not too sure I can trust Tom's review compeltely as he mostly focused on the wireless aspect of this device...


So what is the Pinnacle ShowCenter? Well you can stream movies right from your pc, so realisitcly if you backup your dvd's or you simply want to play back your home movies you can stream them to this device which sits in the middle of your home theater and connects directly to your surround sound/ tv system 🙂 So far everything I've read is awesome, it also does Xvid and DivX decoding along with mpeg2. Like I said it "SOUNDS" great... so what do you guys think?

Ill bump this a bit since Im lookign to buy one...

I guess I dont see how the video quality would be degraded since it depends ENTIRELY on the quality of the source file. The Showcetner simply streams the mpg, avi, etc from the server to the TV screen.
