I have now gone thru 2 different cards, and I get a "video capture device can't start" on both of them. After 2 days of trying their suggestions from their website, I loaded driver version 4.02a which I found on the web. Well, no errors in device manager now, just no capture, and no TV. Is this a bad batch ?? Anybody else having the same problems ? I have tried this on three different motherboards, and 98SE, XP and 2000, with the same results.

This card is junk 🙁 My advice is to take it back to CompUSSR and shell out for the Leadtek Winfast 2000XP or the Asus TV 880. From what I hear that rebate doesn't come anyways. Even if you got it to work (which I did), the IQ was terrible and I would get random errors. Save yourself the trouble, if you want to watch TV and capture video spend a little more and get something that works.

FYI to all with the new Pinnacle card. I just got an email from Pinnacle support. It says that this card requires version 5.2 of the software/drivers to work. I used the CD that came in the box, which was 5.1. This means that every person that buys this card will need new drivers to get the card to work. Great. I am down for a week or two until they get me the CD by mail, since they have no on-line drivers. This card better be worth it.
