How can I get rid of the watermark that shows up when you burn DVDs? I've activated everything and yet this still shows up. I need to get it removed for my friend's football highlight film.

Also, the motion is a little slowed and choppy on the DVD. Why does it change from the sequence editor to the DVD?

Not sure what the issue is. There was a bug that did something like this on occasions, but I never had it. Repost your question at http://www.avid.com/exchange/forums/54/ShowForum.aspx, which is the Avid Liquid site. Lew, Dave, and crew will know and you might get an answer in a couple hours.

edit - I post with the same id there, but have not been very active this last month.

If you tried the demo and then installed a registered copy, I found a thread mentioning 'pixie*.*' files in the directories (hidden and may be 'system'). Move or delete them if you find them and try.

Can't remember if I did that (demo then registered) on this hard drive or a different one, shoot. I'll search for the files.

Thanks for the help both here and on the other forum.

Edit: Found a whole bunch of dlls as well as a folder. Not sure which files would cause the problem though.

I started a thread for you there (put your AT user id in the title).

On the DVD, have you downloaded the service packs? Also, what did you use? I prefer VBR 8500 using Dolby Digital for the best results. And I forget which one version we had (I think it was 5.5) that had a bug with just as you described. It was quickly fixed. And CBR 9200+ can do this on some players.

I just did the DVD VOB 1 reference set; it's CBR 8500.

Edit: Haven't downloaded the service packs.

I used VOB2 and tweaked it IIRC. I am on 7.1+ Also, remember playback on a computer DVD tends to pick up some interlaced noise because it is sharper than a TV on refresh.

I posted the links to the upgrade to 6.1 and the service pack over in the Avid thread.

Thanks a lot man, I really appreciate it. I tried looking for them on the Pinnacle site but all I could find were upgrades to Avid LE7.

Bump, still haven't gotten the problem solved.

Update didn't work. Now I'm in big trouble cuz the update screwed up my project when I tried to roll back and I have to do the whole thing over again.

Post it there and bump it if required. I never saw your issue with LE6. I think someone on the Avid board did. It might be in the archives too, which search fairly well.

Edit - I replied there. If the reinstall does not work, create a new thread. Don't mess with the project files as the media management is unique and easy to confuse. Project files can be in the Project directory of prog files\pinnacle\edition, so do not delete everything as the first part of a reload like you might with other apps.
