Pinnacle bungee DVD - vision program stopped displaying video

I'm trying to get this thing to show video and it did for a while but now it stopped and I even tried reinstalling it. I have the composite plugged into the vcr out, and into the pinnacle bungee, but no matter what I only get the sound. It suddently stopped for no reason. I had sound like half an hour ago and now it stopped. It's a piss off and I've always hated that program because it's full of bugs. I have to reinstall it every time I want to capture, as it only lets me capture one session, after that it will just "generate errors" according to some message I get. Is there a way to get this thing to work?

Or even better, are there any other programs I can use that would do the same thing and work with the current drivers or have it's own generic drivers? Thanks in advance.

Ok, turns out that when it crashed, all the video color settings such as brightness and contrast were set to cause it to just be black. I don't know why that happened.

But speaking of crashing, that's another issue. This thing crashes often! It always says "this program generated errors". Usually if I use the setting option (it will open 1/5 times, otherwis e it just crashes when I try to open it). Any way to fix that, or do I just need to live with it like we all do with Windows?
