Pink PS2

My girlfriend has been looking into getting a PS2 Slim, and needless to say she loves all of her electronics to be in pink (Zen Vision: M, Nintendo DS, DVD Player. etc). I'd seen pictures of a Pink Slim PS2, but a few minutes of googling seems to show that it is only available in the UK. Was this thing ever in America?

Nope, the only special color in the US is the silver one.
