So yeah, there's a giant 1px wide pink line running down the laptop's screen, vertically. It appears when booting up the computer and continues into Windows. However, it disappears when F2'ing into BIOS.
I have Googled and found that many others have had it happen to their own monitors.
What could be suspect is the installing of a "Polar Golf" game that came with the laptop. It could've messed around with the drivers. Another culprit could be the ridiculous fluctuations of electricity in Bangladesh and the unreliable surge protectors. It could be the humid climate. Or it could've just been a physical perturbation.
Is it a hardware or software problem? Any way to fix it besides sending the thing in?
