Think I should sue my isp

This is horrible. They just went from having someone provide them w/a t-1 to having their own T-1.

They give 256kb service, and have about 400 clients.

How can they only stand a T-1?

I have a feeling once everyone gets switched over the the new t-1 service will only get worse.

Sounds to me like they're severely over-selling their bandwidth, are you sure they only have one T1? T3's and up are much more common in the ISP world unless you're dealing with mom & pop ISP's run out of somebody's garage.

I remember at my whole school, the whole damn school shared one T1. That was horrible.

They plan on expanding, and they only have 1 T-1.

My mom works for them, but they continually don't listen to me.

Oh well, when they file for bankrupt I'm going to tell em I told ya so.

And our school only has a t-1 throughout about 500 computers. It sucks sooooooo badly.

yes Paulson my old school was small. I'd say there were probably about lets see, 100-200 comps hooked up to it. Wirelessly which was very cool but it was slow as hell.

T1's are outdated, my cable modem runs downstream the speed of a T1.

Now, lets start getting some OC-45's

It's called guaranteed service. You're not really paying for the bandwidth, you're paying for the guarantee that when all hell breaks loose your line will be there for you.
