Could it be because of the Nimda virus? I heard it was taking alot of networks down, and it was putting out bad traffic.

280 Alerts from Zone Alarm in the past 24 hours. It's usually around 50-60

Yes, my cable modem connection has been slow as well. Getting lag spikes and high latency to my favorite CS server.

I have @Home and service is pretty terrible right now. My modem isn't flashing and ZA has no alerts, so I guess they are filtering traffic.

Thank you all so much for the support and answering my questions. I thought I was alone here ...then I remembered the nimda virus hit and that was precisely when the ping spikes and crap started.

Thanks!

Edit - Do you guys think maybe the preposed lag of Wolfenstein was just the Nimda in effect? :Q

I couldn't even load a page for awhile until about 10 minutes ago, it would just time out. Now it seems normal
