Ok, any Pine gurus out there? Ok, prolly not many. Anyways, does anyone know how to change the message when you reply, it says "On xx/xx/xx, Bob wrote:"? I've seen someone with a customized one before and they were using pine. I use pine all the time, and I was curious as to how I could change this. Anyone??

I use pine on all my shell accounts.

if you can customize it, it should be in the setup. I never have the patience to go thru the whole super-long setup list for pine

Yeah, I found the list, but there's nothing there I recognize as the reply label thingy...so OT is my last hope :p

aren't all the pine settings stored in a single .rc file in your ~ dir? you might edit that sucker and see if you see anything on it there.

Under the Config menu, it's the "reply-leadin" option. Scroll down a good bit till you find it, then press "?" to see the syntax.

Sidenote: use mutt instead. mutt rocks! Much better than PINE, though I love the acronym that PINE is (Pine Is Not Elm). Kinda cool. :)

Can I just say that Pine rules?
Oh, and trn4.0 alpha for news, please.
Just say no to Winblows. (Except for AT forums, of course)
