It's definitely a good game. I just wish the tables were a bit cheaper, especially since I already own some of them on Android. Hopefully they will go on sale during the Steam summer sale, though I'm not counting on a big discount since it was just released. For the most part I actually like the non-licensed tables better than the Marvel/Star Wars ones.

I can't wait for TPA (The Pinball Arcade) to come out on Steam.

"Each table inside the Pinball FX2 platform can be played for a limited period of time"

I wonder how many actually free tables they will put out other than the sorcerer one.

Is there any indication any will be?

I have all of the tables on my Vita/PS3 (on there it's called Zen Pinball 2). Really wish I could bring them to the PC, but it's a great game with good tables.

I want to put these on my pinball cabinet but until they come out with a Steam-less version going to have to pass. :(

I really like this game. I'll wait and see if they'll have some sort of discount on the Steam sale and pick up a few packs.

Damn $72 for every pack they have, and it doesn't look like the Street Fighter one's even there yet :( I love this game, but to keep up with every table gets expensive. They should offer a season pass where you get all the tables for that year for 1 price.

Funny thing is, $3 for a table isn't much when you think about how much we'd spend on real pinballs.

Lol. True, whats really funny is my virtual pinball cabinet cost more than any of my real machines, but when it comes to video games, I'm cheap :)

Oh, I just meant playing real pinballs. 25 cents to a dollar per play. Play it many times, it's a lot of money.

Thanks for posting this op! I didn't know about this and it's been forever since I played pinball on the PC. The free table is actually pretty good. I plan on getting some of the others eventually.

Installed on my old living room computer and was able to play with my Xbox controller without having to do any configuration.

I forgot you the guy who built one of those. Now that I'm in a house I could theoretically take on such a project, but my money probably should be better prioritized right now :p

So I just downloaded Pinball FX and actually like the feel of the free table, Sorcerer's Lair, a lot. Which of the DLC is recommendable? The Empire Strikes Back demo I tried was a bit meh, though it's got some nice, star-warsy sound effects.

It's a pretty cool hobby if you're into pinball, but yea, it's not cheap. Nothing beats the real thing, but a full blown virtual cab are fun for their own reasons.
