is it possibel to do some sort of volt/ pin mod on a sempron 2800+
or some technique to unlock the multi on this processor ?

board am2nf6g-vsta
Ram 2 gigs markvision memory

ok so i'm searching on google but i can't seem to find what i'm looking for. Zap can you give me a link to a site/manual on this feat ? also if a volt mod goes bad can that destroy my motherboard ?

Go here and click on the "Socket AM2" link.

Theoretically you risk your motherboard, CPU and RAM if the mod is botched (and PSU if it doesn't have short protection or OCP).

thanks Zap u get an extra 1+ from me :thumbsup:

so if all goes well with the volt mod i may be able to increase the fsb to somewere @ 300+ i'm stuck @ 275-280 fsb. also where the black line is i have to cover them with graphite ? first time at this...

Hitting 300MHz+ HTT might be difficult if your board isn't already an overclockable board with all the settings.

You're thinking of a "pencil trick" but that won't work. Those black lines represent a real electrical connection, which you have to do with wires or conductive ink, which can be a real pain to get right. Why do I know this? ;)

Good luck on your overclocking adventures. I had an AM2 Sempron 2600+ that ran briefly on 1.6v and 360-370Mhz HTT. I say "briefly" because the motherboard died. :eek:
