Pin Layout on 2 pin fans

My damn makeshift panaflo wire just fell apart and now im not sure how it fits onto the 3 pin layout of the mobo...

Is it,

Red/Empty/Black
Black/Empty/Red
Red/Black/Empty
Black/Red/Empty
Empty/Black/Red
or
Empty/Red/Black

I can help with that Have a look at the close-up of the Panaflo connector here, the red wire is +12V and the blue is ground. On your fan, black is ground, so it goes where the blue wire is.
