Has there ever been any formal studies done on the esoteric world of the pimp? The manipulation of women (and men) to sell their bodies for the benefit of someone else (where they have the choice to refuse). I've seen some of their techniques but it can be difficult if you want it to be a threat-less process. Furthermore, I've been intrigued by the mysteries that surrounds these men and the lavish Players' Balls that they throw every now and then at the Cotton Club in Harlem.
