Pilates- anyone here into it?

I've been doing a LOT of cycling lately, and while I'm definitely getting fitter I've noticed lately that I seem to be losing a lot of my range of motion thanks to being hunched over on a bike 15 hours a week. From what I've read, Pilates both increases range of motion and improves muscle strength and tone (also a concern for cyclists since we don't do a whole hell of a lot with our uppper bodies besides shoveling food). Anyone here have personal experience or advice with this? I'm curious, but would like some input before I plunk down cash to take some classes.

Tanks! :)

I have seen my wife do pilates. My guess would be that you would be just as well off stretching everyday, unless you think you need/want the work out (pilates is hard work). Yoga would also be an alternative unless you want more of a work out.

The only Pilate I know of is the Roman guy from the Bible who acquitted Jesus and then let the Jews execute him anyway.

That's the thing. I need the flexibility and getting a workout at the same time would be nice. Cycling is great for your legs and cardiovascular system, but you end up with crappy posture and the uppper body of a 12 year-old unless you do other stuff in the off-season. This sounds like the ticket, I just wanted some personal input before I jumped in.
