PIII too hot?

I set my PIII 450 to 124FSB. Here are my MBM5 temp readings:
High:62C
Low:56C
Average:58C

What do you think? Is it too hot? I'm using a retail HSF.

I may be the only one on here that feels this way, but I really dislike topics that just read "Please read".

To answer the question, it's on the high side, but I wouldn't be concerned if this was my CPU.

I'm with pm, we're both nice so we read your thread however if you had been more specific you would have got more posts.

58C isn't overheating by any means. However IMHO (and that of a number of OCers) never stick with the retail HS. And always use thermal grease/paste.

I switched from a retails HSF to a FDP32 (on my C366@550) and saved 12C on my CPU and thermal grease/paste bought me another 2C.

While I do think that's a bit warm...
I wouldn't totally disregard Intel's Retail HS/F combo...
as I type I am using one on my System (spec's below) and No,
it isn't anywhere near that high of a temp...
Since I run the slocket and the P2b doesn't support the Internal
Diode I have an external Temp probe affixed like many sites, just
off the edge of the core...
Temps range from 82F-105F with Ambient of 72F

Oh and stock voltage, I wont raise the voltage until I get my water
block this Turkey-day...
