ok...i haven't really worked with the flip chip, but i am buying 2 of them here soon..the seller told me to be very careful as far as the HSF installation is concerned because there have been alot of "mishaps" due to faulty HSF installations. What exactly can one do that screws up the chip when you install the HSF on a fc. i've done SS7's and cellies...just being precautious on this one...i don't want my money going down the potty.

pretty simple task . just lay the mobo on a flat surface, out of the case. place the HSF on the cpu and hold even pressure on it while you hook the clip. you can always have someone lend a hand if need be.
should be no problem
