PIII - Slot 1 or FCPGA???

I just purchased an Abit BX6 rev 2.0, and I am going to run a Celeron 466 with MSI MS6905 Master slotket in it temorarily. When I upgrade the processor should I go with the PIII 700 FCPGA or Slot 1?
Also, is there any difference in performance between the two?
Thanks

get the flip chip version because you can later use it in another mobo. The slot 1 boards will soon come to an end.

My 2 cents. If the motherboard is slot 1 then use a slot 1 CPU. Who wants the extra plumbing in effect to potentially slow things down? Less is better for speed freaks! I think slot 1's run a bit cooler too just because of how they're set up. Besides, if you get a kick ass slot 1, you'll probably upgrade the m/b too when it's time and companies lke Asus and Abit are never going to discontinue support for their popular slot 1 boards. Maybe I'm a minority here but I think slot 1's rule. The only "real" reason sockets are back again is because they're cheaper to manufacture.
