Hi guys,

I need to buy a PIII secc2 slot1 heatsink and & fan. What do you guys recommend. Overclocking is a possibility. I would like to hear all the choices. Could you give me a website to where I can purchase it as well? Thanks.

Alpha P3125!!! Best SECC 2 SLot 1 heatsink ever made! They're pretty cheap nowadays and run like monsters! Coolest temps i've experienced on my P3 750e!

1 thing I found out about HSF for PIII's Slot1's over a year ago is the limted number of choices compared to a S370 chip 🙁

Isn't the PAL 3125 a monster?

Yeah, not very many choices w/ Slots. If your looking for a high performance heatsink, then the Alpha is the way to go! albeit it is a lil large 😀 MIght want to make sure it fits your motherboard w/o taking out ram slots you need. Another great heatsink i found were the Gorbs. They weren't that great for the T-Birds, but they're great for the Cumines and Katmai CPU's. Low cost, and perform within 10 degrees of the Alpha. If your not oc'ing, go with the Gorbs. If you want the best, go for the Alpha. You can probalby get a used Alpha for around $20. (i got mine for $40 + shipping a year and a half back).
