The "sweet spot" so to speak is the P3 700e most will make 933mhz and at only slight increases in voltage...

Check with either Compuwiz1 or Bonkers325 they have excellent deals on pretested cpu`s...

The general word is that 700's can clock way higher than 800's. I have an 800EB myself and can get it as high as 900 stable. But you see a lot of people with 700's/733's over a gig. Some also say to stay away from the EB's (133FSB) and get the lower 100mhz FSB. That way you have more headroom to OC. Then there's cB0 and cC0, which I don't know much about.

Better to try with the 100FSB variety devices (700E, not EB). The EB devices start off with a 133MHZ FSB and you really need to be overclocking your memory in most cases to get any sort of reasonable overclock. The 700E 100MHZ device seems to be holding the favored PIII slot since it gives a nice 933MHZ overclock with 133MHZ FSB selected and as said, most will make it to that speed (70-80%) with some reaching the magic 1GHZ number.

The CBO and CCO are the last two steppings of the device with the CCO being the latest.

Both have produced pretty good overclocking results with the CCO being perhaps slightly better - they shrunk the die size when going to CCO and it may be that it runs cooler and handles the overclock better.
