Can a PIII EB CPU (i.e 133 Mhz FSB) run at 100 Mhz FSB?

I have an Asus motherboard P2B and an Asus V3800 graphics card (TNT2). So If my TNT2 card cannot run out of AGP spec, I like to be sure that I can use the P3 EB CPU (e.g.PIII 850 EB) at 100 Mhz FSB.

You could always underclock it, but why not just get an 800e or something, which runs at the 100Mhz FSB by default.

There's actually no such thing as a P3 850EB. The closest EB processor to that (i.e. one that runs at the 133Mhz FSB) is the P3 866. Unless you change you're motherboard to a 133Mhz rated board, such as the VIA 133A, or Intel 815 boards, you'd be better off sticking to a processor that runs at the 100Mhz FSB.

all eb can run at 100fsb but your going to lose lots of performance that way

6.5x133=866
6.5x100=650

over 200mhz of performace
