PIII 800E or Duron 800

I'm considering an upgrade of my system shortly and am looking at either a PIII 800E to go with my existing AOpen AX6BC Pro or replace with an ASUS A7V / Duron 800 combo.

The PIII option will give me slightly more powerul CPU but the A7V give my existing ATA/66 drives greater I/O (and a spare mobo for my son's PC) to go with the Duron 800.

Which would be a better solution... pure CPU grunt or slightly less grunt and faster disk access... all opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

personally i prefer AMD, but that's cause i think intel needs a good thing of competition... lol. Honestly i would take the duron, or even a 800 t'bird, they're like 140 on pricewatch now. The disks will slow down load time a bit on the intel board.
