How do you guys (and ?gals?) rate the chances
of hitting round-about 1Ghz on a PIII 750
with 7,5x100 original setting, tweaked to
7,5x133 on the Asus CUSL2?

If you get a cBo chip, and you use a good heatsink/fan you have a good chance, but it is certainly not a guarantee. You would probably need to use a peltier to achieve true stability at that setting. Also check the http://Overclockers.com CPU database.

A good P3-700E cB0 will hit more than that. I'm running one @143MHz FSB and it's hitting 1001MHz. It's running hot right now (around 42C), but that's because I don't have the right heatsink/fan. I'm using the retail heatsink/fan from Intel.

If you can get a P3-750MHz as good as this P3-700MHz, there is a chance you can get to 1072MHz.

BTW, my processor is a SL45Y from Malay.

I think you'd be better off with a p3 700e, most p3 700e's will hit 933 no problem, only some 750s can attain 1ghz. and you probably have the same chance of 1000 with a 700 as a 750. a 700@1001m will be noticable faster than a 750@1000 because of the bus speed anyway.

But then again you'll be stressing the PCI/AGP more than on the 133fsb.
