Mwave.com is a very good store, very high ratings in RR.

Might also want to pick up a stick of Kingmax PC150 for only $72.

When are the AMD chipsets not stable? The MSI board went through the Anandtech lab tests without a single crash, NO board has ever done it.

Man, $$$ screws with your head🙁 I was looking at the performance of the Duron 700 and even T-Bird 900 and higher and they don't offer that much more performance (if any) than my current Athlon 735 w/GeForce 2 GTS...especially at 1024x768 and higher. Even when overclocked to 900 and greater, the performance difference of the Duron vs my Athlon isn't that great...

Maybe I should use the money on a new 12x Plextor burner or get a faster hard drive. Seems like the smart thing to do right now.

I guess it's easy to get wrapped up in the MHz, but when it comes down to it and you look at the numbers, it isn't worth it to upgrade now. My dad will just have to use his laptop a little bit longer 😀

I'm gonna wait another year to upgrade. I have a unlocked P3-533B that ran over 900Mhz wo/ cache and 750Mhz w/ cache. Then the pelier sentup went horribly wrong and the CPU barely makes 600Mhz. I;m just gonna grin and bear it now too. 🙁

Anyway, if you're not looking at a mobo/CPU upgrade, there are some hot hard drive deals out there right now. Quantum Fireball Plus AS 40GB for only $115 after rebate and coupon, or the IBM 75GXP 45GB for $150.

forget the mobo/cpu upgrade, buy the ibm micro drive, stick it in your pda and have a portable jukebox of doom.

Yo brandon, for someone who only seems to goto school and doesn't work you sure have alot of money man. You must be pimping dem ho's on campus eh. 😉
